Workplace Learning

As part of Careerforce's quality assurance process and in line with NZQA requirements, unit standards are assessed by a qualified Workplace Assessor. Workplace Assessment measures the achievement of unit standards within the work environment. It is facilitated by a workplace assessor and supported by verifiers and attestations. This model captures naturally occurring evidence and will align with existing policies and procedures.

Moderation is an assessment related quality improvement tool. The term describes the process used to assure the consistency of assessment throughout the country. Through random sampling, assessment and verification activities are measured against the agreed standards to ensure national consistency and fairness.
